Preparation for the upcoming season

Dear Vikings

It is great to be able to write to you again. It has been a busy summer with World Cup and a lot of activity at The Den, and we are slowly getting ready for the upcoming season.

It has been great to see the a lot the Vikings at the Den this summer, as well as all the hard work by Mads OJ and Carina really paid off. There was a fantastic atmosphere at the Den, and a lot of press coverage – Great job guys

We have unfortunately over the summer sold some of key players on the transfer market due to great performances throughout the season. We as a team is of course not reducing our ambitions, and we are very active in finding replacement and to continue to strength the team.

The market is very active, and we are currently in dialog with many new players, as well as having a few players on trial.

The current activities are

In

Linus (Celtic FC)

Jojie (Bashers)

Monty (free transfer)

Kane (Singapore FC)

Thomas ( Arhus United)

Mathias (Hellas FC)

Moeller (Shanghai Vikings)

Out

Nathan (Shanghai Vikings)

Jeppe (Vestas old Boys team)

Frank (Melbourne Vikings)

Uffe (retired)

Mads OJ ( Bombay Vikings)

Jonas (Copenhagen Vikings)

We are hoping to have the squad finalized by end of August, but currently it look very promising. The financial situation and our strong economy is giving us new opportunities. We are in dialog with a some really strong players, including a professional player from Ukraine J

We have also over the summer made some changes on the coaching position. Mr Lasse Karner is taking over from Jonas Dreyer. A tough act to follow, but we have faith in Lasse being the right person taking the Beijing Vikings 5 a side team to the next level. A huge thanks to Jonas for a FANTASTIC job on and off the pitch. You will be missed

We will keep you posted on the development, and as well disclose the expectations for the upcoming season
